carers talking in carers cafe

"Such a welcoming place..."

Croydon carer who visits the Carers Cafe

The Carers Café is a place just for carers. You'll be treated to a free hot drink and refreshments with access to free books, games and Wi-Fi. A laptop is also available for carers' use.

Caring for someone can be stressful at times, so the Carers Café is designed to help you relax. You are welcome just to sit quietly, but if you'd like to talk to someone, our friendly volunteers are very happy to have a chat. We also provide regular advice drop ins within the Café, including blood pressure checks from the Stroke Association and drop-ins with Croydon Council's Direct Payments Support Service. See What's On for dates.

The Café is open Monday to Friday, 10.30am - 12.30pm and is staffed by volunteers. Come and find us at the Carers Support Centre, 24 George Street, Croydon CR0 1PB.

Please be aware the Café is only open for carers but you are welcome to bring the person you care for with you – we’ll be very happy to see you!
